Just in case: this is not TF art.
Jinjing-Yu taking a flowery bath. Kinda. With rain helping her.
If there's one thing - other than wandering around or goofing around - that she does all the time, it's bathing.
Clean doggy is clean. And doesn't smell of wet dog!
She doesn't have a bathroom at home, so she can (or must, really) take baths wherever there's clean water. Although she does have a favorite spot.
I just need to make it first.
Hey, you! Like anthro chinese crested dogs? Then why don't you
check out more pictures with Jinjing-Yu over HERE?
ALSO, the water lilies' textures (not the lily pads though) are completely procedural!
They don't even need UVs!
The most fun parts to do in this piece were:
Rain ripples on water - I SHALL SHARE THE TEXTURES AND ALPHA OF THEM
[NOTE: they have slight
seams (but they're still perfectly tiling), not really visible until you know where to look; I was lazy]!
Also, click on 'File', then 'Download'.
Jinjing-Yu's flowy, liquidy hair underwater, which you can't really see. FML.
The lily pads! Had so much fun sculpting them!
Setting up the caustics to be "efficient" wasn't fun, but looking at the results was.
I'd also say postprocessing, but that's always fun and a relief.
Oh, and there's one little thing that I should've done, but didn't, out of laziness, and lack of a clever trick to do it easily (and efficiently, there's that word again), but I won't say what it is, hoping no one will notice. Also, this is probably the last piece where she is alone, tease tease.
